YES. YES. YES...

Why not? Doesn't YES sound better than NO? Prettier than NO? More adventurous and spontaneous? Answering YES makes me happier most of the time. With the exception of when YES lead to night skinny dipping in the ocean last November, eating the catch of the day in Essaouira and having my hair colored dark brown in 1998.

Always say YES when asked to take a minute to appreciate the art of others...

When you say it, say it loud and with conviction...

NO should not exist when it comes to dessert...

Face wipes for sensitive skin...Yes to Cucumber...In fact all of the Yes products are great

SEATON - Cashmere, boyfriend zip up hoodie in papaya and white
LOVE. LOVE. LOVE.
I am wearing it right now :)

Over my bed did not seem very ladylike.
So I have this in my hallway instead...just to keep me focused...

Check out this band. This is their second album. FANTASTIC.

Affirmative, certainly, indubitably, yep, by all means...

Learn a new language? YES, of course!

When a simple YES won't do... Another Flaming Mandarine at Katsuya, a free upgrade on anything, fries with that shake, Mexico in March and/or two for the price of one...HELL YES!

YES to NEVER hearing Owner of a Lonely Heart EVER again in my whole life!
And that is how you turn a NO into a YES...

Well...Here is where I draw the line...NO NO NO NO

MOROCCO...

EVERYWHERE! Such beautiful tiles. Blues, greens. I have more pictures of tile then you could ever imagine!

The start of every day...Fresh squeezed OJ, a yummy chocolate croissant (or 3) and a list of the days "To-Do's" and " To-See's"

A quick stop at the 7-11

SPICES. In an effort not to waste anything they make cool totes out of the vibrantly colored spice and grain bags. So If you see me walking and leaving a trail of dusted cumin...you will know why.

I see fashion everywhere...Sort of

The meal I MADE in a cooking class at La Maison Arabe. Lemon chicken with olives in a tagine. Cooking classes when you travel - GENIUS. You learn so much about the culture...and get a free meal...well not REALLY free, but certainly exactly how you like it (and yes, those are lemons in the shapes of fans and a leaf)

Zucchini on the left, roasted peppers on the right with the most beautiful tomato rose in the middle...All made by me!
Cumin, saffron, salt, pepper, garlic, ginger, turmeric and lots of paprika!

After lunch...I wish I could have taken a nap...in the center of the town...with hundreds of people walking by

After a few hours (no kidding, I swear I ate every two hours) I was ready for a stroll down the "Food court" at the Djemaa el Fna in Marrakech. I passed on the goats head but said "Yes" to the rice and olives!

Oh boy! The hottest day at 111 degrees. My "Ride", Victoria Beckham, was a trooper

Out of the sand/dirt and on to La Mamoumia.
Spinach and hen egg ravioli with poulette sauce. OH MY GOSH!
Almost as good as my tagine

Happy art at the Riad el Fenn

Sad fakes in Fes. Crooked seams, strange styles, exposed glue and the smell! Exactly what every girl wants, to be walking along in their Stephen Sprouse-ish LV that smells like a dead goat

Olives by the pound (or kilo or whatever the heck they use over there). They all tasted kinda the same but they all tasted really good!

I don't even drink coffee...but a cafe au lait in Essaouira while people watching...A MUST

Everything in Essaouira, a small fishing village, is cobalt blue

MINT. MINT. MINT. Scorching heat and hot mint tea is offered at every stop. So...at every stop, hot mint tea was had

Hands down the best meal of the trip (and we ate at some really great places). Spiced rotisserie chicken..$2.00

And once again America incorporated into the customs of a foreign country. Rotisserie and thyme flavoured Lay's potato chips. Yes, I bought them. And yes, they tasted just like chicken flavoured chips!

So many amazing restaurants, such great food, wonderful shopping, lovely people, kind ambassadors, beautiful riads and hotels plus THE SPAS...oh boy I could go on forever about the Hammams (heads up, you are not supposed to go in naked...oh well you live your learn)

Part two...restaurants and shopping!
